My name is Lauris.
I build websites for breeders, and I started Oppdrettweb to do something that is actually useful to others.
Why I started
I wanted to contribute to a field where websites have often looked the same for many years, and where most people have thought that is just how it has to be. I wanted to make a change, an improvement, something new in an old field. The pedigree and the family line are what breeders are most proud of, and what buyers want to see. That is why it comes first in everything I build.
I also wanted to do something I can point to and say: I made that. Something of my own, from an idea to something that really exists. For a long time I have thought it would be cool to start something, but I never dared. Now I am doing it.
How I work
- I use AI tools when I write the code, and I check and test everything myself, on phone and computer.
- I never guess health, titles, parents or dates. You provide them, and you approve the site before it is published.
- You own the content, the accounts and the domain.
- If I have made a mistake, I will consider fixing it at no cost, also later. I usually do, but it is goodwill and not something I promise.
